Hot temperatures and high humidity are forecast to continue across the mid-Mississippi Valley into this weekend. Heat Advisories remain in effect. Heavy to excessive rainfall occurring at times through the weekend could bring areas of flooding to parts of the northern Rockies, upper Midwest, central Great Lakes, and southern New England. One half to two and a half inches of snow fell across southern Wisconsin in the overnight and early morning hours between December 8th and 9th. The highest amounts were centered around Dodge county.

The snow in southern Wisconsin began in the late afternoon on Friday and persisted off and on into the morning on Saturday. Snow was the heaviest in the early morning hours.
