Flooding Risks from Tropical Moisture Across the Southeast and Southwest

Tropical moisture from Isaias and Rachel will impact portions of the Southeast and Southwest this weekend. Flash flooding, strong winds and even a threat for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes are possible. The Milwaukee lakeshore observation located on the Port of Milwaukee grounds near the Lake Express Ferry terminal is experiencing intermittent data outages, most likely due to the power supply. The observation stopped transmitting around 1 pm on September 2nd but resumed around 10 am on September 3rd.

Our technicians will be visiting the site to diagnose the issue, and hopefully get it corrected later this week, or the week of September 9th.
