Excessive Rainfall and Significant Flooding in the Upper Midwest This Weekend

Heavy to excessive rainfall is expected over the weekend across eastern Iowa, northern Missouri, northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Chattanooga NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter, WXK-48, serving Bledsoe, Bradley, Hamilton, McMinn, Marion, Meigs, Monroe, Polk, Rhea, Roane, and Sequatchie counties of southeast Tennessee, and Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gordon, Murray, Walker, and Whitfield counties of northwest Georgia will be off the air for scheduled maintenance on Saturday, September 5th.
