Heavy Rainfall This Weekend in the Southern Plains and in South Florida; Bering Sea Storm in Alaska

A slow moving front will produce a threat for heavy rainfall and severe weather from New Mexico into the western High Plains through the weekend. Heavy rainfall is also expected this weekend in South Florida. Hamblen RAWS site information

This TN Division of Forestry site is located at the State Forestry office in Hamblen County, Tennessee across from the entrance to Cherokee Park. The site is at an elevation of 1161 feet MSL, and is almost on a peninsula of Cherokee Lake. The main part of the lake is around 0.4 miles to the north at an elevation around 100 feet lower than the RAWS.
