Weekend Showers and Thunderstorms Over the Southeast U.S.

A slow moving storm system over the northern Gulf Coast will continue periods of showers and thunderstorms over much of the Southeast U.S. through this weekend. Hamblen RAWS site information


 

This TN Division of Forestry site is located at the State Forestry office in Hamblen County, Tennessee across from the entrance to Cherokee Park. The site is at an elevation of 1161 feet MSL, and is almost on a peninsula of Cherokee Lake. The main part of the lake is around 0.4 miles to the north at an elevation around 100 feet lower than the RAWS.
