A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for southern Monterey Bay and the Big Sur coast now through 9 AM due to visibilities down to a quarter to half a mile in dense fog. If driving, slow down, use low beam headlights, allow extra space in front of your car, and take extra time to reach your destination.
