Extreme Heat Warnings have been issued for the Phoenix metro, as well as parts of western Imperial County Sunday before expanding to all of the major population centers on Monday. The warning will continue into Tuesday for the Phoenix Metro area. While overnight lows remain comfortable, afternoon high temperatures will reach a 104-112°F range, with Monday being the hottest and most impactful day.
Temperatures will reach their highest levels of 2026 so far on Monday. High temperatures across the lower deserts are forecast to reach 104-112°F on Monday, leading to widespread moderate HeatRisk with a few areas of major HeatRisk, including in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
High temperatures will reach the 100s across the lower deserts the next several days and will be hottest on Monday, pushing 110°F in some areas. Temperatures of this magnitude will lead to widespread Moderate HeatRisk each day, with areas of Major HeatRisk on Monday, including in Phoenix.
