Rain and Thunderstorms in the Southeast; A Wintry Mix in the Southern Mid-Atlantic

A frontal system is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast and Southeast, and some snow and/or freezing rain/drizzle over the southern Mid-Atlantic into the morning. After a long hiatus SMG is sharing KSC area wind towers out to MADIS and the Utah MesoWest every 5 minutes.  You can see the data at:

  • NWS Weather and Hazards Viewer 
  • Utah MesoWest To see the KSC towers be sure to click the Network dropdown box and select "All Networks".  This site is especially nice as all tower levels can be listed with a few clicks.
