Severe Storms and Heavy Rainfall Across Texas and Oklahoma

Widespread strong to severe storms are expected over much of Texas and southern Oklahoma today, with potential for significant damaging winds and large hail. An Enhanced Risk (level 3 of 5) has been issued for central Texas. A Moderate Risk (level 3 of 4) of excessive rainfall could create localized areas of flash and urban flooding across north-central and eastern Texas through this evening. Read More >

High temperature forecast for interior NorCal for Tuesday May 28, 2024.
Warmer weather ahead, this week with high temperatures climbing into the upper 90s, and possibly 100 by Friday.
Cold water safety tips. Boating or kayaking days can be deceptive. Even strong swimmers can lose control in about 10 minutes in cold water. ALWAYS wear a life vest.
