Gusty southwest to west winds will combine with low relative humidity and a high to very high fire danger resulting in critical fire weather conditions. A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 10 am MST to 8 pm MST for all of southeast Arizona. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect on Wednesday for the potential for increased winds again.
Gusty southwesterly winds are expected late Tuesday morning through early Tuesday evening. The strongest winds are expected to be in far southeastern Arizona, where wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible. These winds may also produce some blowing dust at times.
