Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage with a risk for flash flooding. Areas that have the greatest risks are where previous heavy rain fell in the last 48 hrs.
Increasing moisture today will lead to scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening from central Pima County eastward. Storms will be capable of producing 1"-2" of rainfall, which could lead to areas of flash flooding.
Chance for 1" or more of rain today is 20-60 percent from Tucson southward.
Chance for 2" or more of rain today is 10-40 percent mainly south of Tucson.
