Scattered storms w/ strong outflow winds 40-45 mph are expected today across Southeast Arizona. These winds will be capable of producing blowing dust...with a possible haboob formation between Tucson and Phoenix late this afternoon into this evening.
The highest probability for wind gusts in excess of 50 mph this afternoon and evening are from Tucson north, as well as over the Tohono O'odham Nation. These strong winds will likely produce dense blowing dust.
Don't drive through dust storms, "Pull Aside, Stay Alive!" Pull off the road as far as possible. Stop and turn off all lights. Set the emergency brake. Take your foot off the brake, make sure tail lights aren't illuminated.
