A weather system passing to the north will bring breezy winds today, leading to critical fire weather conditions. This weekend, a dry low pressure system passing through the area will bring cooler temperatures 6 to 12 degrees below normal and breezy winds and potentially elevating fire weather conditions once again.
Gusty West winds at 20-30 mph gusts to 45 mph, low humidity, and very low fuel moistures increasing the potential for fire starts and rapid spread of fires. Red flag warning in effect today from 10 AM through 7 PM.
