A potent storm system will move across the region though the weekend, with high elevation snow and lower elevation rain, with rainfall amounts up to 1 to 2 inches expected over San Bernardino and Inyo Counties. Stay weather aware this weekend, and be sure to check road conditions before you head out. If you encounter a flooded area, turn around, don’t down!
Light-to-moderate rain will spread across the forecast area today before an additional wave of moisture pushes into the region on Saturday. Nearly everywhere is expected to receive measurable rainfall on Saturday, with the greatest amounts expected across southeastern California and southwestern Nevada. Flood Watch remains in effect for Inyo and San Bernardino counties from 4 AM Saturday through 4 AM Sunday as a result.
