Hot weather will prevail in the lower deserts with temperatures around 5° above normal. Mild weather will prevail west of the mountains with temperatures mostly 5° below normal.

Not much change will occur Saturday with highs near 100 in hottest parts of the lower deserts with mid to upper 60s continuing near the coast.
