Rain and high elevation snow will continue to spread into western and central NM tonight. Several inches of snow accumulation are expected across the northern mountains. Strong to damaging winds will persist through the evening and overnight.
Here are the additional snowfall amounts we expect tonight. The northern mountains will continue to pick up a few inches of fresh snow. However, strong winds will create areas of blowing snow and low visibility.
Much colder air will spread east across the area behind a cold front Tuesday.
