
A cold front will cross the Great Lakes and Northeast U.S. through Monday with gusty winds and areas of rain showers. A strong atmospheric river is expected to move into the Pacific Northwest by midweek bringing a threat for moderate to heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and mountain snows for parts of Washington, Oregon, northern California, and the Sierra Nevada. National Weather Service NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter, W X M 68, which broadcast on a frequency of 162.425 MHZ, ceased broadcasting on September 15, 2017. Other NOAA radio transmitters providing service for this area include W X M 44, broadcasting at 162.475 MHZ from Mount Ascutney, VT, and W W F 48, broadcasting at 162.525 MHZ from Mount Greylock, MA. A replacement transmitter site has been located, however, an extended service outage is anticipated. We will update this statement when additional information is known.
