Hot Temperatures in the Northwest U.S.; Excessive Rainfall Potential in the Southwest U.S.

Hot to extremely hot daytime temperatures remain in place across coastal southern California and the interior Northwest, with the Northwest carrying the potential for record-breaking high temperatures.
