Fire Weather Concerns; Record Warmth Spreads

The Plains to the mid-Mississippi Valley continue with warm and dry conditions. Any fires that initiate could spread quickly. The warm temperatures will expand across the Southern Plains into the Southwest where numerous records are expected through the weekend. A Blizzard Warning has been issued for portions of northeastern SD and western MN from 3am until 8pm Wednesday. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the rest of our area from midnight CST/11pm MST tonight until 6pm CST/5pm MST Wednesday.
