NWS Fairbanks proposes changes to the following flood stages for
the Sanctuary River at Denali Park (SRDA2):

Flood stages are referenced to local station datum. The proposed
flood stages are based on photos and observations by NPS staff and
the lack of impacts during the August 29, 2025 period of high
water with a crest nearing 12 ft.

Current and forecast river levels and flood impact descriptions
for the Santuary River at Denali Park (SRDA2) are available at
https://water.noaa.gov/gauges/srda2.

The NWS Fairbanks is soliciting comments on the proposed flood
stage changes through October 11, 2025. Please submit comments in
writing to fairbanks.weather@noaa.gov with subject line "SRDA2
flood stage change" or call 907-458-3709 during regular business
hours and request to speak with the Senior Service Hydrologist.
