...Thunderstorm Hits North Pole...

A thunderstorm moved over North Pole about 7pm this evening,
causing frequent lightning, and hail. There was a report of
lightning striking a house, and hail as large as one half inch.
The storm lasted about 20 minutes and is now dissipating.

There will be similar isolated thunderstorms occuring through 10
mph tonight. Each individual storm will last about one half hour
and cover a small area before dissipating. As one storm
dissipates, another will form in a different location. The winds
with each storm can blow up to 10 miles outside of each
thunderstorm, so gusty winds from various directions can be
expected through 10 pm as well.

Storms will start to dissipate about 10 pm tonight, though
isolated showers may linger past midnight.
