The NWS has developed a new web interface for dissemination of its water prediction information. The new gateway, NWPS, is designed to make it easier for our partners and the public to access expanded river forecast information, observed water and precipitation data, and other resources, including flood inundation maps.
Due to maintenance work being conducted by the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) at the UAF Butrovich Data Center, there will be a telephone outage at the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Fairbanks on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 4 AM to 9 PM.
