Severe thunderstorms capable of damaging winds will be possible from the Ozark Plateau east into portions of the Southeast today. .SYNOPSIS...
Low pressure is centered over the northern Gulf of Alaska. Cloudy
and wet conditions will continue this morning. Isolated
thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening.
Saturday night and Sunday gusty southerly winds develop out ahead of
the next Bering Sea storm system. Snow accumulations of 6 to 12
inches are possible.

.OUTLOOK SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...
The next Bering Sea low pressure begins moves over the Mountain
Sunday and Monday. Snow levels should drop below 7 thousand feet by
Sunday morning with 6 to 12 inches of accumulation possible. Gusty
southerly winds will increase to 30 to 40 mph on Sunday.
Winds weaken on Monday. Yet another Bering Sea storm is expected
spread more high elevation snow and strong southwest winds 40 to 50
knots into the region on Tuesday.
