.SYNOPSIS...
As of Monday evening, mostly cloudy skies are present south of
the mountain with clear skies at the summit and cloudy skies to
the north. A weak storm system near the Alaska Peninsula shifts
east across the Gulf of Alaska on Tuesday and Wednesday. This
system is leaving plenty of moisture behind, but ridging gradually
builds aloft suggesting mainly cloudy skies at base camp and
clearing skies at higher elevations. Precipitation chances appear
low on the mountain, but showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms
should develop each day around mountain during the heat of the
day. Light winds near or below 20 mph prevent these showers from
moving over the mountain.

.OUTLOOK WEDNESDAY THROUGH JUNETEENTH...
Weak high pressure develops over the area on Wednesday ahead of a
low pressure system tracking south along Alaskas West Coast late
this week. A continuation of light winds and a mixture of lower
elevation clouds and higher elevation sunshine is expected on
Wednesday. However, the West Coast low pressure system brings
increasing precipitation chances later this week.
