.SYNOPSIS...
A system moving into Southwest Alaska late Tuesday into Wednesday
will shift east towards the Gulf of Alaska, supporting steadier
precipitation rates on the mountain. Isolated to scattered
showers are expected to continue with isolated thunderstorms also
possible. Steadier precipitation and cloudy conditions are
expected to continue on the mountain for Wednesday and Thursday
ahead of conditions trending drier for Friday. Increased winds are
also expected to build in tonight into Wednesday and into
Thursday, peaking around 15 to 30 mph. Storm total snow amounts
late Tuesday through Thursday are expected to be light around base
camp and 8 to 12 inches across higher elevations.

.OUTLOOK THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
As the aforementioned system continues its trek east and away from
the mountain, conditions will trend drier Friday and into the
start of the weekend. Models become a bit more uncertain over the
weekend, but the overall idea of another system moving in seems to
be increasing in confidence later in the day Saturday into Sunday
with another round of rain/snow at base camp and snow/breezy
winds in the higher elevations.
