Bering Sea Storms in Alaska; Heavy Rain in Hawaii; Severe Thunderstorms in the Upper Mississippi Valley

A series of Bering Sea storms continues to impact western Alaska this week, with elevated water levels, isolated coastal flooding, high surf, erosion, and strong winds. Tropical moisture will bring the potential for heavy rain and thunderstorms to Hawaii through early Thursday. Welcome to the National Weather Service's new radar webpage located at radar.weather.gov. The redesigned weather viewer was completed in an effort to provide better radar viewing services to the public. On this new page, we provide more radar products with images updating more frequently and at four times higher resolution than before. Our GIS-based web page allows users to integrate our radar data into their own platforms.
