APRIL 26 2008 Severe thunderstorms accompanied the passage of a cold front across parts of the Finger Lakes and the eastern Lake Ontario regions. Hail up to one inch in diameter was reported in Irondequoit, Rochester, Brighton and Walworth. The downburst winds from the thunderstorms downed trees and power lines in Oswego and Adams. Downpours that accompanied the storms caused brief urban flooding in the Rochester metro area.
