A localized thunderstorm dropped three quarters of an inch of rain in less than an hour and inch and a quarter hail across Genesee county. The hail accumulated several inches on the ground and piles of it could still be seen hours later. Three-quarter inch has was reported in Bergen and hail an inch-and-a-quarter fell in Batavia.
