At Buffalo International Airport seven tenths of an inch of rain fell in a 20 minute period late in the afternoon. The heavy downpour closed transit road between Walden and Broadway in Depew. Portions of Amherst, Cheektowaga, and Depew (Erie county) also experienced some street and basement flooding. In Lockport, Niagara county, fire, flooding, and power failures resulted from the storm.
