Heavy Rain and Flooding Along the Central Gulf Coast; Severe Weather in South Texas

Heavy to excessive rainfall could lead to flash flooding over portions of east Texas into southern Mississippi through Wednesday morning. Heavy thunderstorms caused flash flooding over the northern suburbs of Buffalo during the evening hours. In Clarence, several basements were flooded and roads were closed because of the flood waters. A 46-year-old delivery man was struck by lightning and was only slightly injured.
