Today was the coldest Decoration Day of record in Buffalo. The minimum temperature was 35 degrees, and compares with a previous record of 37 degrees in 1884. The mean temperature for the day was 43 degrees which also exceeded the previous record of 45 degrees, occurring in 1884.

2006

An area of showers and thunderstorms crossed the St. Lawrence valley during the afternoon hours. Three quarter inch hail was reported in Port Leyden.
