1990

A fast moving low pressure system brought very strong winds to the Niagara Frontier. The highs winds lasted from morning through early afternoon. Trees and power were downed. Minor structural damage was also reported.

1991

24th-26th…Snow squalls were once again produced by the cold air passing over the warm waters of Lakes Erie and Ontario. Snowfall amounts of up to a foot and a half were reported to the lee of the lakes. Numerous automobile accidents were blamed on the heavy snow and poor visibilities. Specific reports included: Erie County - Lancaster 12", Depew 12", Cheektowaga 6"; Lewis County - Highmarket 16", Barnes Corners 9"; Cattaraugus County - New Albion 9".
