Unsettled Weather Continues in the Southern Plains and Northeast into Mid Week

Two storm systems will continue to bring unsettled weather to the Lower 48 through the middle of the week. Heavy to excessive rainfall may lead to flash flooding over portions of east Texas into the lower Mississippi Valley Tuesday into Wednesday. A cold front crossed the area producing severe thunderstorms during the afternoon. The thunderstorm winds downed power lines and large trees in Wayne county. In the town of Arcadia, the roof of an industrial building was damaged and structural damage was done to a garage.
