High winds at the Small Boat Harbor in Buffalo resulted in 24 crafts being sunk or damaged by the wind whipped waters. At the Buffalo Airport, a peak gust of 45 mph was recorded.

A line of thunderstorms crossed Jefferson county during the early afternoon hours. Jefferson county Sheriffs reported power and phone lines down by the thunderstorm winds in Henderson.
