If you have travel plans west of Billings be prepared for winter travel conditions, and those going to the high country should be prepared for severe winter conditions.
Widespread precipitation is forecast through Monday. The heaviest precipitation will be over SC Montana. Precipitation will be mainly snow above 5000 feet, with a mix of rain changing to or mixing with /snow down to 3500 feet.
Cold and wet conditions into Monday. Temperatures will trend toward more seasonal levels mid week. Overnight temperatures are forecast in the 20s and 30s through the week ahead with Frost and Freeze potential likely in most areas. Protect any tender vegetation.
