The Duluth Airport set a new daily High Temperature record of 91 degrees F for August 20th. This breaks the old reocrd of 89 that was set in 1976. The Duluth Airport recorded a minimum temperature on August 20th of only 69 degrees F. This breaks the old record of 68 deegrees as the warmest minimum temperature on record for this date. The Duluth Airport missed reaching the record high on Wednesday, August 21st, by just two degrees with a high temperature of 88 F. Although the overnight low Wednesday morning was a very warm 73 degrees F, the temperature dropped off rapidly Wednesday evening, falling below the current record for the date of 69 degrees F set in 1976. |
