APRIL 2016 WAS COOLER WITH NEAR NORMAL PRECIPITATION AT DULUTH MN

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR APRIL WAS 37.7 DEGREES WHICH WAS 1.9
DEGREES BELOW THE NORMAL OF 39.6 DEGREES MAKING THIS THE 31ST
COOLEST APRIL IN STATION HISTORY. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR THE
MONTH WAS 71 DEGREES ON THE 16TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS 2
DEGREES ON THE 9TH. ONE DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORD WAS BROKEN FOR THE
MONTH. THE RECORD LOW TEMPERATURE OF 2 DEGREES WAS RECORDED ON THE
9TH. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 6 DEGREES SET IN 2007. TWENTY ONE
DAYS HAD AVERAGE TEMPERATURES BELOW NORMAL.

APRIL 2016 WAS COOLER AND WETTER THAN NORMAL AT INTERNATIONAL FALLS MN

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR APRIL WAS 37.3 DEGREES WHICH WAS 2.0
DEGREES ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 39.3 DEGREES MAKING THIS THE 40TH
WARMEST APRIL IN STATION HISTORY. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE FOR THE
MONTH WAS 77 DEGREES ON THE 16TH. THE LOWEST TEMPERATURE WAS 6
DEGREES ON THE 9TH. NO DAILY TEMPERATURE RECORDS WERE BROKEN FOR THE
