Forecast through Tuesday for El Paso. A cold front arrives Saturday night and knocks temperatures down to near normal early next week.
We stay warm and dry for Friday with generally light west winds.
With a La Nina pattern continuing into the winter, dry and warm conditions are favored for southern NM and far west TX in December. A similar trend is forecast through February by the Climate Prediction Center. This does not mean it will be warm and dry the entire period as arctic airmasses and winter storms can impact our area.
