A marginal risk of severe storms exists for Otero County Sunday. A marginal risk means that a storm or two could become severe with large hail and damaging wind gusts.
Hot with triple digits across much of the lowlands Sunday. A few storms are possible in and around the high terrain, especially across Otero Co. A storm or two may become strong to severe.
After a short break, moisture begins to creep into the region on Sunday and we will see daily rain chances through next weekend. Best chances for rain will be west of the Rio Grande and in area mountains. The rain and clouds won't do much for our temperatures as high temperatures this week look to continue to run a few degrees above average.
