Critical Fire Weather Conditions in the Southern Plains; Showers and Thunderstorms Linger Over Florida

A cold front will linger over Florida through Tuesday, bringing widespread showers and thunderstorms, and potential flash flooding concerns. Showers and thunderstorms will be most widespread across eastern and central Florida. The east winds have brought in some moisture so we will have a chance for some light rain today. Best chances for rain will be east of the Rio Grande. The trickle of moisture will continue for the next couple of days and we will see another chance for rain on Monday night into Tuesday.
