NWS Flagstaff, AZ
Weather Forecast Office
The National Weather Service office in Flagstaff will be undergoing a computer upgrade of our systems that will require some regular products and services to be unavailable between Monday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 4.
This includes suspended service of the NOAA Weather Radio transmitters for Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Window Rock, Prescott, the White Mountains, and Payson. Some routine climate text products such as the Daily Climate Report (CLI), Preliminary Monthly Climate Data (CF6), and Routine Temperature and Precipitation (RTP) will be unavailable. Much of the locally generated graphics and data on weather.gov/fgz will also be temporarily unavailable.
These products and services will become unavailable the morning of Monday, June 2 and are expected to resume late in the day on Wednesday, June 4.
The NWS Flagstaff forecast office will continue regular operations during this time, with all other normally scheduled products and services continuing uninterrupted. No impacts to our core services of forecast products and weather watches, warnings and advisories are expected during this period.
We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary suspension may cause. Observation data used to create the impacted climate text products will still be available for users throughout this timeframe. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the office at nws.flagstaff@noaa.gov.
