Winter Weather and High Winds from the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains; Heavy Rainfall Along the Central Gulf Coast

A storm system pushing into the Northern Rockies will bring high winds and winter weather from Montana into Minnesota today into Monday. Winds up to 55 mph are expected, which may result in blizzard conditions across eastern Montana. Increased moisture through the lower Mississippi River Valley will have some stronger showers and possible thunderstorms through Monday along the central Gulf Coast. Read More >

After that, 3 or 4 tabs will open up below the map:

If there are Red Flag Warnings or Fire Weather Watches on the clicked area, the text for those will show up in the first tab. Otherwise this tab will not show up.
A tab with the Fire Weather Forecast Discussion and the forecast for the Fire Weather Zone clicked upon will be in the second tab.
A color coded Fire Weather Matrix will show up in the next tab. Some offices have created custom thresholds for the matrix. Otherwise, "default" parameters will be used. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
The final tab has a 3 hourly point forecast matrix for the next 6 days. Note: This information covers the area on the map within the "green square".
