Not as cool tonight (Wednesday night), with low temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s. Winds will stay out of the south/southeast, generally around 5 mph. The few high clouds that we saw this afternoon will clear out tonight and clear skies will dominate through the morning hours.
It will be mostly sunny and warmer on Thursday with highs in the 70s. A few locations may reach 80 degrees. Expect breezy south winds increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon with gusts up to 25 mph.
Rain and storms chances return Saturday evening and night across the areas along and north of a stationary front. Better chances on Sunday. Severe weather can't be ruled out, stay tuned for details through the next days.
A slow-moving upper trough will provide increasing storm chances beginning early next week. Locally heavy rain is possible with this system. Stay tuned as we refine the details to the forecast!
We will have a SKYWARN Basic Class on Thursday, March 22nd in Gun Barrel City (Henderson County). The class will be from 7 pm to 9 pm. Classes are free and registration is not required! We hope to see you there!
