Cold Front Brings Snow to Divide Mountains and Front Range. Vail Pass Impacted through Monday.

A cold front will move southward through Colorado tonight through Monday, bringing snow to the divide mountains and Front Range. Eastern slopes will be favored for the majority of the storm but the Elkhead, Park, Gore and Elk Mountain Ranges including Vail Pass, will see impacts with periods of heavy snow. Dry air moves in Monday morning, with another system arriving Tuesday.

NOAA Weather Radio (Oct 23 and 24) and GJX Radar (Oct 24) will experience intermittent outages due to equipment upgrades

NOAA Weather Radio transmitters at Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs and Eagle transmitters will be down or intermittent on Oct 23 and 24 due to equipment upgrades. The Grand Junction (GJX) radar will be intermittent on Oct 24 due to these upgrades as well.
