EXTENDED OUTAGE OF JOANNA BALD NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER CONTINUES
The NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter broadcasting from Joanna Bald Mountain and serving the western mountains of North Carolina remains off the air.
Replacement parts are on order and repairs are expected to be made by the end of November, which will bring the transmitter back into service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our listeners.
