ROCK HILL NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMITTER TEMPORARILY OFF THE AIR

The NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards transmitter broadcasting from Rock Hill, SC, serving the piedmont of the Carolinas on 162.425 MHz, will temporarily be off the air today. Maintenance will be performed at the site and service will be restored as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our listeners.

In York County, or the North Carolina counties normally receiving the Rock Hill broadcast, tune to the Charlotte transmitter on 162.475 MHz during the outage.  In Cherokee or Union County, SC, tune to Greenville (Paris Mountain) on 162.550 MHz.  In Chester County, SC, tune to either Greenville or Charlotte, depending on which broadcast comes in more clearly.
