Augusta Airport Weather Observation Partial Outage

The present weather sensor on the Augusta Airport ASOS (KAUG) is currently inoperable.  This will result in missing rainfall reports.  Replacement parts for the observation platform have been ordered.  Timeline for coming back online is unknown, but once the part arrives, NWS technicians will bring the system back online.  In the meantime, you can access nearby observations by visiting:  https://www.weather.gov/wrh/hazards?wfo=gyx&obs=true
