Any lingering light snow this evening will be replaced by bitterly cold temperatures returning to the area. As the cold front moves through wind chill temperatures will fall below zero, and for some locations may not return above zero until Monday. By Sunday morning wind chills are expected to be between 20 and 25 below for a large portion of the area. Sunday night will see a continuation of very cold temperatures, but not as widespread as tonight. By the middle of next week temperatures will be returning to near to above normal readings, but we may have to contend with some light snow Tuesday night.
