Weather Story for New Hampshire and Western Maine

Most rivers and streams have crested while residual ice on rivers around the western Maine mountains will need to be monitored for isolated ice jams. Weatherwise, a series of weak fronts will cross the region Friday through Monday bringing light precipitation. It is too soon to say winter is over yet, with snow likely in the mountains and a chance for more widespread wintry precipitation across the entire area by Monday.
