Wind Advisory for the Kern County Desert

The passage of a cold front through Kern County on Friday will help to kick-up the winds over the Eastern Side of Kern County. The winds will become strong by mid-day on Friday and continue into the early morning hours on Saturday. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph will be observed across the area as driving will become difficult at times. Blowing dust will also be observed.
