An upper level system moving through the Pacific Northwest this week will allow cooler air from the northern Pacific to move into central California. Afternoon highs in the San Joaquin Valley will struggle to get out of the low 90s, with only up to a 35 percent chance to exceed 93° for much of the area.
An unusual weather pattern for mid July over the west coast next week, will lead to unseasonably breezy days with high temperatures below 90F in some parts of the north valley.
