Severe Thunderstorms and Excessive Rainfall in the Eastern U.S. Tuesday; Hot Weather for Southern California

Severe thunderstorms are likely across portions of the Mid-South, Tennessee Valley, and lower Ohio River Valley Tuesday, including damaging winds and tornadoes, a few of which could be strong.
