Record Heat for the Intermountain West and Northern Plains; Heavy Rainfall and Severe Weather Threats

Record setting heat is expected over the next several days from the Intermountain West through the northern Plains. Furthermore, fire weather concerns increase with dry and breezy conditions. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall and severe thunderstorm threats for the Ohio/Tennessee Valleys, central Appalachians and Southeast today. Office Tour Requests

National Weather Service, Huntsville welcomes tours of our facility! Tours typically take 20-30 minutes must be scheduled well in advance to allow for sufficient staffing, typically 2-4 weeks prior to the visit.

Tours are typically limited to groups of 20 or less, but special accommodations can be made for larger groups with ample notice.
