Tornado Surveys Today: Looking at Damage From 3/24-25/2023

...Preliminary Storm Surveys Scheduled for Today for Areas in
DeKalb County in Alabama and Franklin County in Tennessee...

The National Weather Service office in Huntsville AL will be
sending two storm survey teams today to assess damage within
DeKalb County in Alabama and Franklin County in Tennessee. The
survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved
through the area on March 24-25.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement this evening.

Additional surveys may be needed on Wednesday.
