Winter Storm Bringing Widespread Hazardous Weather to the Eastern U.S.

A rapidly-intensifying winter storm continues to bring heavy snow, high winds, and blizzard conditions over the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes through today. A fast moving clipper system moved through the region during the morning hours on Monday, December 16th. A swath of 1 to 2 inches of snow fell, generally north of the Ohio River and south of Interstate 70.
